About us

e-KwikBuild Housing Company (Pty) Ltd was formed nine years ago in South Africa with the objective of supplying insulated pre-engineered buildings for a wide variety of uses including camps, housing, offices, classrooms and clinics. Clients range from the government of South Africa to Mining, Oil & Gas Majors and NGOs.

The company is registered by SEESA as a Black Women owned company with 31% of the equity in the company currently held by local Black Women.

The main shareholding company (51%), KwikBuild Corporation, in the UK was taken over by Lonrho PLC, who has a vision to supply building infrastructure throughout Africa.

Operational Structure

e-Kwikbuild has a 3570m² state of the art panel manufacturing unit, warehouse and corporate office in Cape Town, South Africa. The main manufacturing facility has convenient access to the port for shipment of panels. This facility is capable of producing 220 panels in a single shift which is the equivalent of 840m² per day. KwikBuild currently boasts a staff compliment of 1116 members and has a list of  reputable subcontractor teams for installation.

Area of Operation

e-KwikBuild delivers on  a large scale public and private sector projects; in South Africa; these have included providing 340 emergency school classrooms to the Department of Education in the Eastern Cape, Medical clinics and laboratories for the Department of Health. Also operating in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, Kwa-Zulu Natal and Free State Provinces.  Subsequently KwikBuild has been awarded a large contract at Cape Town Station to  upgrade trading facilities and have become a major supplier to South African Police Service (SAPS) providing victim friendly support units at a range of training facilities. We are moving rapidly into the construction of mining camps for the oil and gas sectors throughout Africa, recently winning a tender with the African Barrick Gold Group, the largest gold producer in the Tanzania. The company has also just been awarded the camp facilities for the First Quantum new project in Solwezi, Zambia.
